Spot Comes to Visit

Quick random post-- Connor's class has a mascot: a giraffe named Spot that gets to come home with each child for a week. Spot has a journal that the kids can draw pictures in and write about their adventures. We're also supposed to take pictures with him when we can. Some were really cute, so including them here. Needless to say, Spot was a major celeb around here- they put a hat, jacket (and scarf!) on him when they took him outside, strapped him into carseats when he went in the car, etc. Both kids really loved having him here.

One day we took Spot out for ice cream with Connor's best bud Tristan and his little sister. Big superhero fans if you can't tell.

When Connor was at school Leyla would sneak naps with Spot. Here she is just waking up one day. She's got Connor's Puppy in there with her too, she's a total lovie hoarder...
