Leyla's playdate with her best gal pals. These girls are all so sweet!
Look how big he is! There is something so bittersweet about your last baby getting so big. Sometimes I wish I could just freeze time. Then again our family is ready to move on to big kid things. Just cherishing every minute of his babyhood while I can!
Enjoying a walk with my youngest boos!
They love riding together.
Logan loves "painting" the snow!
Not the best lighting for a picture, but Friday night we had Spring Benefit/silent auction for Leyla's preschool. Last year I helped run it, it was so nice to just be an attendee this year! Very fun night.
Saturday morning I hopped a train down to Baltimore for the night with my friends from home. These girls have been my BFF's since middle school (or since preschool in Jessica's case!) A night out with them is so good for my soul. St. Paddy's Day celebrations were in full effect in Baltimore that day/night and we had a blast!!
Waiting for the bus with Connor Monday morning. There is still so much snow! Hope it melts by May!
The joys of having a big sister! Although he does make for a beautiful Elsa :)

Weekend Pics
Painting shamrocks to decorate for St. Paddy's Day.
We may have had some warmer temps this weekend but it's still going to be a long time before all the snow even begins to melt. So we actually rented our own little patch of green for 30 mins at the local batting cage. Desperate times ;) The kids had fun! Connor was in mid catch when I snapped this pic.
Leyla played a little soccer with us but mostly hung on the sidelines pretending to call her friends with a fake phone. Gotta love this one.
After church on Sunday, we were off to celebrate the sunshine and warmer temps with a field trip to NYC! First stop, one of our old favorite restaurants Brother Jimmy's for lunch. It's an ACC Southern BBQ Bar/restaurant. Katy Perry was blasting when we walked in, it was decorated with Christmas lights, the kids each got a balloon and they had skee-ball. The kids quickly declared it the Best. Restaurant. Ever. But we already knew this.
Cheers to Sunday Funday! Little different than it used to be but still very fun!
Logan loves balloons.
Back in the pre-kid days we might have ordered a Brother Jimmy's "fishbowl," basically a huge fishbowl drink concoction of horrible alcohol. They would decorate them with plastic alligators and other flair, which a bartender gave to the kids as we were leaving (the alligators, not a fishbowl.) Too funny.
Then it was off to the American Museum of Natural History, which was right around the corner. Museum was awesome and the kids loved it! We didn't get to see everything, so we'll be back soon.
And finally... Monday morning on the way to school. Leyla sure loves her color and accessories... and I sure love this girl!!
Rockstar pose!
Looking forward to some much warmer temps this week, Spring just might be on it's way!

Snow Day = PJ Day
Another snow day means a pretend living room sleepover with their lovies! This picture really makes me smile.

Weekend Pics
Couple quick pics from the weekend...
We got together with my college BF's on Saturday. Here's a kiddo pic, quite the crew we've got going on, with another (Shannon's) due to arrive in June!
I'm sure I've mentioned that Logan couldn't possible be more of a dog lover. So he didn't really leave the side of their two dogs the whole time we were there. Yes, I know- gotta get these kids a dog! Not until Logan is out of diapers though.
My littlest love looking so handsome and grown up at brunch after church on Sunday!
My mailbox, can you spot it? I'm so so so SO over the snow!!
Logan is such a little snuggler, Leyla calls him her lovie now (although her actual lovie is draped over her shoulder in this picture.) And yes, we've got yet another massive thumb sucker on our hands, and he just might be the worst of all of them. Ugh.
It's been so relentlessly cold and snowy I brought Leyla's bike and Logan's car into the basement. Logan has been loving "riding" Leyla's bike!

Connor got his Tae Kwon Do blue belt last night! One step closer to ninja status!
Way to go Connor!!

My Funny Valentines
This video really makes me laugh. One of Logan's favorite things is to take (many) tissues out of the tissue box and pretend to blow his nose (he just makes the blowing sound.) Here Andrew and I found him doing this and then stuffing the "dirty" tissues into Leyla's Valentine's Day box! I also love the background where Connor and Leyla are negotiating Valentines' Day candy trades. Funny kids!
Sking 2015!
If there's one thing this never ending cold and snowy winter has been great for it's the skiing! We took a family trip up to Stratton, VT a couple weekends ago and Andrew and Connor (and occasionally Leyla too) have taken many day trips to closer mountains. Connor's been going down black diamond runs lately- big time!
Connor pumped up for the ski day ahead.
Andrew and I in Stratton, VT (Connor and Leyla in ski school and Logan at the mountain day care!) It snowed like crazy that day which made for awesome powder!
Leyla (in the middle) on her way to ski school. Hard to see but she had a huge smile on her face!
Connor is a big fan.
Video Andrew sent me of a Sunday when he, friend John, and Connor hit the slopes for the day!
I love Connor's giggles in this. And I did have a chat with Andrew later about the potential dangers of videoing while skiing :)

Family Pictures
This past November we had some family pictures taken. It was crazy cold that day but we still managed to get a couple really great ones. I was especially excited to get a great one of the five of us and some really cute ones of Logan (since we never had first year pics done of him.) We ordered a couple other hard copies but these were the digital files we chose as part of our package.

Logan 18/19 Months
Logan hit a big milestone back in December- 18 months old! I thought it was about time for a Logan update :) Without further ado, 18 things about Logan at 18 months (of course he's already 19 months now but oh well!)
1. He's absolutely the sweetest kid. He loves to give hugs, kisses and "nice Logans" (stroking your face). He also loves to sneak up behind me and just snuggle into me (or Andrew, Connor or Leyla.) He's my little lover.
2. He loves stuffed animals. He carries them around, pets them and gives them constant hugs.
3. He loves dogs, especially my Dad's dog Oliver! My Dad got Logan a doggie board book for Christmas and it was the cutest thing when Logan literally put his head down on each page to snuggle with the dogs ;)
4. The kid eats the house. He literally never stops. The word he uses most is "more" of course. When dining out Connor and Leyla will sometimes split a kids meal but Logan always gets his own, sometimes from the adult menu. Imagine the waitress' surprise when she sets down the turkey club sandwich with sides of broccoli and fries in front of the 18 month old. We've renewed our Costco membership, it's going to be the only way.
5. He's really verbal. He probably has 50+ words, I stopped keeping track. His first words (after Dada) were dog, more, baba, up, and all done.
6. He's got the most awesome hair. It's still slow coming in on the top and sides but the back is so great- those blond curls. People tell me I can never cut it (I still haven't cut Leyla's so we'll see!) Right now though, he rocks one amazing mullet.
7. He's not been a team player when it comes to travel. He's only recently become better at car trips, but still loathes sleeping in a packnplay. Hoping we get over that hump soon, we've got a couple big road trips planned for the next couple months!
8. He loves going out. He'll literally put on his own boots, hand me his jacket and say "Out. Out."
9. He could sit on my lap and read books for hours. I love this!
10. The highlight of his week is his Bouncing Bears class at the Y.
11. His lovie is a green and yellow kitty blankie thing. It's not what I bought to be his lovie but what he latched on to! This particular kitty Andrew picked up at the Tokyo airport for Connor when he was traveling once when Connor was a baby. So fingers crossed we don't lose this because there's definitely no replacing it.
12. He's borderline obsessed with Taylor Swift, One Direction and Katy Perry and asks us to play them way too much.
13. He loves to make funny faces (he's wearing my Mom's hat here).
14. It appears to be getting a little better but for awhile there he was climbing on absolutely every thing (and usually getting into trouble.) You can't leave him for a minute!
15. He can empty the contents of a kitchen cabinet, tissue box, wipes holder or board game box in seconds flat. Hard to be mad at that face though ;)
16. Favorite games are being chased, hide and seek, and playing ball. He also loves wearing anyone else's shoes. Here he is in Leyla's beloved Anna boots! Love those little thighs.
17. Not surprising, but his very favorite people in the world are Connor and Leyla. He just wants to be where they are, doing whatever they're doing! For the longest time he couldn't say Connor so he would call for Connor by yelling "Brother!" Now he will sometimes call him "Ca Ca." He can say Leyla pretty well.
He and Leyla waiting patiently at the window for Connor to get home.
