Tonight we hung the ornaments on our tree. I can't believe how many ornaments we've acquired over the last couple years, the tree is basically full! We brought back so many with us from Japan. And my Dad just recently gave me a good number of the ornaments that I grew up with. Each one has a story. Which is why decorating our tree is one of my fave things in the world ;) We had to be quick- getting to all the special or breakable ones before Connor could so that we could hang them on a high branch. We had to- we estimate Connor dropped 4 out of 5 of them on his way to hanging them, he was so excited.

This morning- the finished product of our gingerbread house. I am good at many things, constructing gingerbread houses is apparently
not one of them. Note to self- when the directions say to let the newly assembled house sit for 15 minutes to dry before decorating they really meant it. Oops.
Connor didn't seem to mind ;)
