Sayonara Tokyo!

And we're off!

The apartment is completely empty and we have our move out inspection this morning. Then we're off to the airport. Our flight leaves at 6:30pm (Friday). We've taken two night flights like this with Connor before- one went famously, the other totally backfired. So we have a 50/50 chance of this working out for us. Connor woke up extra early this morning (I think he knows something big is happening) and seems to have TONS of energy today... yikes. I'm just trying to channel positive thoughts. We land in NYC around 5:00pm on Friday night (yes- because of the 14 hour time difference we are technically landing before we take off- one of the perks of living in the future and flying back to the past- soon to be our present!).

Goodbye dear Tokyo... its been real! United States of Awesomeness here we come!

Have a great trip! We want to know if there's a Santa at Macy's that Connor will be able to visit for the holidays - HOW COOL! Maybe you'll even be at the Thanksgiving Day Parade - we'll look for you! We'll miss you so much, but look forward to meeting up again in the future!!

Hooray!
My favorite family is back in the USA - with a great little gift that they picked up in Japan. Welcome home Connor!
