Duck, NC

Having everyone at home every day makes for not much down time (especially not time at the computer!) so I may never catch up. But first up- pics from our vacation in Duck, NC in early July. It was our first time going down to the Outer Banks and we had such a great time!! Lots of pics...

Logan's Birthday Weekend

Logan had a great birthday weekend. My Dad (and his dog Oliver) came up to spend the weekend with us. The kids love it when their Gramps comes to visit and are absolutely crazy about Oliver, so they were pumped! By the end of the weekend Logan had two new words- "again" and "Oliver!"

Given Logan's love of dogs, we had a dog theme for his birthday. My cupcakes were so yummy (if I do say so myself) each with a little dog figure on top :)

After lunch and cupcakes we visited Silverman's Farm, one of the kids' favorite places. Everyone got to feed and pet the animals. Here's Andrew taking one for the team by petting the deer with Logan (he detests deer because they eat his plants ;) )

Sunday morning I took Leyla to a show at New Canaan's summer theater with a couple of her sweet friends and their Moms. Fun girls' morning!

Leyla got to go up on stage and dance with the Princess in the play. I love this pic of everyone checking out Leyla's dance moves (she just let loose!)

 Afterwards we met up with Andrew and the boys at the little beach in New Canaan.

Monday night Andrew and I went into the city for a Counting Crows/Toad and the Wet Sprocket (total 90's throwback) concert in Central Park with Annie and John. The 4 of us last saw Counting Crows together in 2004.

10 years and 6 kids later, we're back :)

Pics from tonight- Andrew usually makes it home just in time for book time with Logan. Lately Connor's been reading his books to him, which clearly Logan loves.

Such a wonderful weekend celebrating my littlest love! Can't believe it's been a year!!
