Logan's 1st 10 Months!

I've always used a site called One True Media to make the kids' 1st Year videos (something Connor and Leyla both enjoy watching over and over and over again- I love them too!) I started Logan's a couple months ago and have been adding to it little by little. This time around I figured out how to incorporate a few video clips too. Unfortunately I got an email a couple weeks ago that the site is closing down and any videos needed to be ordered by May 15th (just made the deadline!) So, Logan's 1st year video has now been reduced to his 1st 10 months! Poor 3rd child :)

Mother's Day weekend

I had an absolutely wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
"Mommy and Me" event at Leyla's school Friday morning.

Here she is snuggling with Andrew Friday night. She's pretty obsessed with my closet lately. Here she is wearing her current fave, a sequin tank top (a dress to her) I used to wear back in the day ;)

Quick stop at New Canaan's annual May Fair on Saturday. It was really hot and really crowded so we didn't stay long- but long enough to ride several rides and have lunch and cotton candy.

 We got Connor's baseball pictures on Saturday. So grown up!

Sunday morning I got to sleep in, which was wonderful being that we were at a friend's house until well after midnight Saturday night. These adorable faces brought me breakfast in bed (they were so so excited about Mother's Day- so sweet!) Connor also gave me all the wonderful gifts and pictures he's been making for me at school lately, I was blown away!

In keeping with my love of lists Andrew made me my Mother's Day list (which made for a seriously perfect day- so many of my favorite things!)

Grandpa Don's Surprise 90th Birthday Party!

The last weekend in April my Dad's side of the family gathered at my Grandpa's new retirement home for a (surprise!) 90th birthday party. Every single decendent was there, from all over, including my bro from Denver! I can't remember the last time each and every person was together- even at our weddings it seems like someone was always missing. It was a wonderful, very special day filled with lots of laughs. A perfect way to celebrate my Grandpa Don!

Weekend Pics

Opening Day! Connor's team is called Blue Lightening. Andrew has two assistant coaches this year (as opposed to none last year) - John, the Dad of Connor's best friend Michael (who played baseball at UMD) and Mitch, the head coach of the New Canaan Varsity baseball team (state champs last year!) I think our odds are pretty good this year! They won their first game yesterday.
